1. Is your daycare subsidized?
No. We are a non-subsidized daycare. Parents pay the full daily fee, and the Québec government later refunds a large portion through the Childcare Tax Credit.
2. How much does daycare really cost after government refunds?
Although the daily fee may appear higher, most families recover a significant portion. After the Québec Childcare Tax Credit:Many families effectively pay around $25–$35 per day, depending on household income.
3. Is the monthly refund automatic?
You must apply for monthly advance payments through Revenu Québec.
If you do not apply, you will receive the refund only at tax time.
4. How often does the government pay?
Payments are made monthly, usually around the 15th. Payments continue for the rest of the year. Final adjustments are made at tax time
5. Why choose a non-subsidized daycare?
Non-subsidized daycares often offer: Greater flexibility / Smaller group sizes / Enhanced educational programs
With government refunds, the real cost is often comparable to subsidized daycare.
6. Can the daycare help with the application?
Yes. We provide: The required daycare form (TPZ-1029.8.FA) and Clear steps to step guidance on what information parents need.However, the application itself must be completed by parents through Revenu Québec.
